Science of Spirits at Pacific Science Center Brings Liquor to Life

We had the chance to check out the Science of Spirits event hosted by the Pacific Science Center on Friday, Oct. 13. The unique experience gave Seattleites the chance to explore and interact with exhibits in an adults-only setting, and the fun was only enhanced by the 12+ distilleries on hand to share the scientific secrets behind their crafts.

Skip Rock Distillers: Raspberry Liqueur Whipped Cream

Snohomish-based Skip Rock Distillers had one of the most interesting offerings with a delicious (and surprisingly strong) whipped cream made with their Raspberry Liqueur.

Blackfish Spirits Distillery: Auburn’s Finest Clear Whiskey

The folks from Blackfish Spirits Distillery, located in Auburn, had shared their amazing smooth-tasting clear whiskey and a very unique cucumber vodka.

3 Howls Distillery: Backbeat Bourbon and Blood Orange Vodka

It turns out a tangy and slightly sweet blood orange-flavored vodka was everything we never knew we needed. For those who prefer more traditional flavors, we recommend the equally tasty Backbeat Bourbon.

Absinthe Brasserie and Bar: Absinthe-ly Amazing
